My Job

I am an employee at Burger King and proud to say it! I love my job...I have fun and work with some really great people. No other job would offer the flexibility that Burger King offers. Okay, I do admit that the pay is really bad, but minimum wage is better than nothing at all! They keep telling me that raises are possible but I don't believe them.

I am a cashier and I love it because I get to interact with people (I'm a major people person!). It's nice to get to know the regulars and laugh at all the freaks that come in. Working late shifts are always amusing. On average, I get hit on by sleezy drunk scrubs approximately 10-15 times per late night. I'm sorry, but I would never date a guy who tried to pick up a girl at a drivethru...that's just TACKY!

I've been working at Burger King for almost a year now and I still enjoy it. I plan to work there the whole time that I'm in school. It helps me to pay the bills (gas, insurance, social life, etc.) and it still leaves me time to do my schoolwork (most of the time!).
